DJs wanted!

MFF Needs DJs! (yes this means you)

It is that time of year again, time for you to fire up the decks and get your demos together for MFF DJ auditions. This means you, and you, and you over there, you too! The dances at MFF have been getting bigger and bigger every year, and we plan to make this year even better than the last. We can't do that without reaching out to the talent in the fandom so if you would like to play, keep reading.

What kind of genres are we looking for?
- All genres! We want to provide a diverse dance for everyone to enjoy so we are looking for everything from electronic to rock and anything in between, and of course don't forget the fursuit dances too!

Are the dances all just going to be techno?
- We want to give you what you want, and we can't do that unless we have a diverse lineup to choose from, so please send in the demos for whatever you are interested in playing.

Do I need to make a demo?
- For the non fursuit dances, yes a demo is required. For the fursuit dances all I need is what you would like to do for a setlist.

How many demos should I submit?
- Just one please, put your best footpaw forward when you submit your demo.

How do I submit?
- What you need to do, in just two simple step!

1) Fill out our demo submission form and email it to dance.2010@furfest.org

DJ Name:
Genres played:
Dates available:
Preferred timeslot:
Equipment requirements:

2) Record a demo. Please make it at least 30 minutes, but no longer than an hour.

The demo can be uploaded to soundcloud, if you need a server to host your mix.

Auditions will close at the end of September, and invites will go out shortly after that, depending on how many last minute mixes come in. Invites will go out in Early October. I look forward to hearing what everyone out there can bring to the table!
